I am hoping to talk to some people regarding the visits from late last week's game, to see how things went from BC's end. I have heard from several of the local recruits and all indications are the guys from Silva to Gallagher (apparently he did make it, though he wasn't one I was expecting) made it. Common theme -- they were impressed with the defense and just didn't think BC's offense had enough speed to present problems for the Florida State offense. Several did comment on the atmosphere and being pleased with it. More commented on the pregame within the team's activities from Addazio's speech to the entry and camaraderie, etc. Just the general vibe before playing Florida State. Most of these guys I spoke with who were impressed were '17's.

Now, to the question here -- how many spots does BC have left for '16?

This is always an evolving situation and this year more than most because I'd been hearing for some time there was a crunch. BC obviously benefited from this crunch because it helped with the timing of some of their commitments.

Based on what I've heard I wouldn't be surprised if BC takes multiple commitments from 2016 prospects. Don't know whether that means they will take two or more. But it was insinuated this weekend, by a source, that they could well take more than one.

Defensive backs and offensive linemen would be the priority.

I also asked about the possibility of leaving a spot or two open for graduate transfers again. The answer was, "Absolutely, yes." This seems like a preference, not just an openness to it. It was put to me like this. BC will be keeping a spot open for a graduate guy. So even if we say they're not taking more commitments, there's almost certainly still going to be room for at least one player like that. Not like there's anyone specific because we wouldn't know for some time.

Related to the number crunch is how strong BC's commitments are. They seem solid. Bryce Morais and Max Richardson are the two that folks have been keeping a close eye on for various reasons, although both have reaffirmed their standing with the Eagles and sources feel good now.

BC is also watching Ethan Tucky closely -- for no reason other than he's really good, really fast, and from Ohio, which means he cannot visit often. But you'll recall that I've heard Tucky has said he wouldn't flip even if Ohio State offered, and one of his family members recently told me he's more excited about BC now than he was when he committed.
