I spoke with Everett quarterback Jordan McAfee tonight. He is a noteworthy 2017 recruit because he has an offer from Boston College. Coaches have been in touch with him for a long time but it certainly didn't hurt his cause to return in a very good performance at the Atlanta quarterback competition hosted by rivals.com. The Boston college coaches heard about how he did and they offered shortly after that. He is listed as a pro-style quarterback but he is really probably more of a dual threat. He is a bit raw as Woody Wommack observed in Atlanta. But he also has the makings of a big arm capable of all the throws and he's very athletic. In short he has the potential to be an elite quarterback recruit custom made for the offense that BC wants to run. He is likely to attend some camps this summer. Earlier this year Boston College unofficially enjoyed himself.
