This year BC's OLine isn't good enough to convert power runs up the middle. It doesn't matter how many guards and tackles pull or fullbacks lead.
Finally on Smith's last TD, BC decided to change it up and give the QB a run/pass option. This play would have won the Wake Forest game, IMO. BC needs to do more of this and less Rouse up the middle for no gain.
Maybe next year, with an improved OLine, Rouse up the middle might work but in 2015 it's not working nor is it putting BC's offense in a position to win. Why it's taken half the year for Daz and crew to figure this out, I have no idea.
