USC played at BC last year, a deal that the Trojans signed in the offseason following finishing #4 in the country. LSU played at Syracuse this year. Mississippi State will play at UMass next year and Colorado played there a few years ago. Michigan played at UConn a few years ago. UConn and Tennessee had a home-and-home that was ultimately called off, but the Vols still agreed to it at one point. Ped State plays at Temple every few seasons.

None of those schools I mentioned are our peers, aside from Syracuse. And Syracuse doesn't offer the attractive road trip or major media market that we do.

The argument that BC's OOC schedule sucks because good programs refuse to schedule home-and-homes with us is a complete lie and a shxtty excuse for Bates' and Addazio's failure to put together any decent series aside from OSU, which may or may not ever happen, and ND (which I bet they'd try to back out of if it wasn't mandated by the ACC). Remember, the USC series was scheduled by GDF (never thought I'd be defending that jackass).

Maybe not every single P5 school would be willing to schedule a home-and-home with us, but clearly there are quite a few that will, especially now that many conferences are requiring at least one P5 OOC opponent per season. We have absolutely no excuse for not having at least one P5 OOC opponent on the schedule every single season, and at least one home game against a P5 OOC opponent no fewer than every other season.
