Serious Question for EGCC

EGCC -- You said (emphatically several times I might add) in the Dalton thread that "Daz is a total Dick" -- and that (I paraphrase) "by all accounts, from everyone that I have ever talked to, Daz is a total dick!"

Since everyone's definition of "dick" may differ, and certainly there may be many different viewpoints as to what makes someone a "TOTAL DICK!" in the most emphatic and undeniable sense, I think it would help if you provided a bit more "meat on the bone" for that.

And please understand -- this is not meant to be a flame, or an argumentative question. But rather, I just want some context. I am a lawyer, who has a lengthy litigation background (although I don't do much of that anymore); and if I learned anything from that experience, it is that conclusion-type statements about people (like -- "the guy is a total dick") need context, and explanation (like, for example -- "You say he's a dick ---- What makes you say that?") in order to understand what is meant.

I mean -- for example, lots of people might think Coach K is a "total dick" without even knowing him, because he constantly wins, gets the best players, and that just pisses people off --- so, he is therefore cast simply as a "total dick".

In DAZ's case -- for example -- I see a guy who is intense, and probable drives his staff and players extremely hard (which includes not accepting any BS excuses for shortcomings) and doesn't "let people off the hook" for things that they may often get away with elsewhere --- all of which could translate into the conclusive appraisal that "That guy is a total dick!"

But -- as with Coach K -- I'll take that "TOTAL DICK!" every time to run my program. And as a parent, I may likely want my kid playing for that "TOTAL DICK" also.

Of course, someone who embezzled company funds while sleeping with his best friend's wife might also be labeled as a "TOTAL DICK".

So, could you provide some context?

Thanks
