Was in the tunnel as they were coming out. Approx 1/10 guys touched the eagle. Several guys I won't mention were yawning, and not the typical yawns you occasionally see in elite athletes. There was no fire anywhere in that group coming out on the field. Looked like they expected their uniforms to beat Maine.
I knew we were going to get punched in the face in the first few series. Hard to beat anyone when they care that much more than you do. We confirmed all this by coming out flatter than a punter pancaked by an all-american guard.
