I've spoken with a couple of sources and feel confident in the information below.

My impression is that BC's second camp session (June 25-28) went well, although some of the guys who showed up didn't quite live up to their billing or at least expectations. That doesn't mean the event was a loss. There have been some new offers that have gone out.

I've mentioned 2018 quarterback Kevin Doyle from Malvern Prep, and I'm hearing he seemed to really enjoy himself while he was at the Heights. In fact I've heard that from a couple of different people now, as well as Doyle himself.

BC offered Canisius (N.Y.) receiver Paul Woods, who is listed here on Rivals as a 6-foot, 138-pound receiver. I asked a source about his size and was told he's probably closer to 160 pounds but he's still a lean guy. But hope that clears up any concern/confusion about his listed size.

One of the players the staff was supposedly anxious to see was Johnny Rosario, a listed 6-foot-4, 190-pound receiver/corner who has been clocked in the past at 4.63 seconds in the 40-yard dash. I'm told he's even better than advertised and is in the 195-200 range and ran in the 4.4-second range, which on BC's camp surface is very impressive and no joke. "He's got ridiculous speed," one person told me.

Here's the deal, though. Rosario was originally going to be a 2017 kid, but apparently he's reclassified to the 2018 class. So he might not be as pressing a "now" need, but you'd better believe he's going to be a priority kid moving forward.

One kid I reported on earlier was defensive back Jason Pinnock from Windsor, Conn., who loves BC's connection to his home state. They offered him, and I'm told that he's really good in press coverage but has some work to do in his off man. He ran a 4.50 or so, which again, is very good and telling of his speed. He's a 2017 kid who ran a 4.49 at UCONN and also posted a 38.6" vertical leap there.
