The players listed below are among those who have been recently offered by Boston College.
Malik Davis - Running back (2017) from Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit. Not surprising to see a running back from a Catholic school down in Florida pick up an offer. At 5-foot-11, 185-pounds he might be more all-purpose than power but he's a back who can do a lot of things. With BC probably expecting to take two or three running backs in this recruiting class don't be surprised if a lot more running back offers go out as they feel their way through the recruiting board that's still in progress.
Devan Lawson - He's a 6-foot-5, 235-pound tight end (2017) from Spring Valley, N.Y. You can watch his Hudl video right here. Lawson has been clocked at 4.70 seconds in the 40-yard dash. I would assume that new defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni is going to be recruiting him as the coach that's doing a lot of the work now in the Empire State. Will have to wait and see. It's possible that a player with that kind of frame could play multiple different positions.
Marvin Pierre - Here's another 2017 recruit only Pierre is from New Jersey. Here's his Hudl video. If you go by the measurables on his Hudl page (no reason to doubt, but they would put him in rare company) then he's a bit of a freak athlete -- 6-foot-2, 220-pounds and a 4.47-second 40-yard dash. In a seven-game junior season at Mater Dei he was a jumbo athlete but a skill player who even returned kicks at an impressive build.
Jacob Panasiuk - His older brother, Mike, just signed with Michigan State this month. Jacob is a Class of 2017 (just one year younger) prospect; a 6-foot-3, 235-pound weakside defensive end from Roselle (Ill.) Lake Park. Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan State, Minnesota and Syracuse are the other Power Five offers. Though every offer is noteworthy the natural question is whether he will go through his recruitment and ultimately pick Michigan State, as many younger brothers do finally end up where their older sibling is. Not sure. Obviously wouldn't be surprising, though.
Micah Awodiran - The Chicago (Ill.) Marist linebacker also has Illinois and Iowa State offers as well as plenty of mid-major offers, too. He's an inside linebacker by label so that's noteworthy. Not the biggest guy at 6-foot-1 but that's an inch or two taller than Max Richardson, for instance.
