Talk about it in The Eagles Nest
Middletown (N.J.) North pro-style quarterback Donald Glenn sent out a tweet yesterday indicating that he planned to visit BC on Saturday.
Glenn hopes to visit BC at some point.
Now, Glenn isn't totally sure he will be making the trip.
"I actually still have to discuss that with my family and coaches," the 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback told EagleAction.com. "I have a practice that Saturday and we're getting ready for our game - it's our first game week. So I still have to discuss that with my coach."
Apparently the BC coaches would be happy to see Glenn in the stands.
"I talked to their coach back in the spring. I talked to their recruiting coordinator," Glenn said. "I was going to make it up to camp but I wasn't able to."
Glenn said he knows "a little bit" about the Eagles.
"They're in the ACC so they play a really good schedule," he said. "I think it would be a great school I'd like to go to. I would like to know more about it, too."
The Garden State passer has also received interest from Penn State, Syracuse, Rutgers, UConn, Duke, Temple, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Virginia and West Virginia, plus about a dozen FCS schools.
Last year at Middletown North he passed for 1,400 yards and 18 touchdowns with seven picks. This will be his third year as a varsity starter.
