BC had two offered quarterback targets at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge and both were rising juniors -- Chase Brice of Georgia and Sean Clifford of St. X. We've profiled both and I'll have more on both in the coming days.
Brice says all the right things but I do think he's waiting on some schools in the South, like Alabama, Florida and Clemson. But Clifford is really speaking highly of BC and the St. X connection. He will probably visit this summer. This is a guy with the potential to really get pretty big, especially with the platform he's got at the Five-Star Challenge and QB Challenge in Baltimore this weekend, and one person I spoke with that's somewhat familiar with Clifford believes Boston College could have the inside track, at least early.
