First of all, the "game" entails trying to smash an innocent animal-hide-covered sphere with a club made from a former LIVING TREE!!!! Secondly, if the batter (better called a "batterer") actually strikes the sphere, individuals from the opposite team (better called "enemies") try to rob the batter of WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY HIS, that is, the right to run on the base paths. Thirdly, the people observing this perverted contest may me maimed by errant spheres or pieces of broken clubs. It is time to end this outmoded form of "entertainment"!
