Hey everyone:
I'm in the midst of planning a trip to India and Nepal. Probably 3 weeks, maybe a month. I've been 3x (only once to Nepal), but was finally able to talk the old lady into going.
Wondering if anyone has any way off the beaten path towns/things I should check out. I've done most of the enormous tourist things, some we'll repeat for her, but also looking for some completely forgotten or lesser known things to get ourselves into.
Will be starting in Mumbai, heading south to Goa, and then will start making our way North and west Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maybe Bihar and West Bengal and then up into Nepal for Kathmandu and then hiking up to one of the Everest base camps. Town wise in India I'm assuming Jodhpur, Jaisalamer, Delhi, Agra, Varanasi (Definitely going to do an extended stay here, one of my fave places on earth).
Anyway, any help appreciated.
