Wanted to provide a little more information on BC's pursuit of three quarterbacks from the Class of 2017.
Mac Jones, the Kentucky commitment that we've written about before, is a player that Scot Loeffler really likes. The big thing for him has been the need to gain weight and I think the staff believes he has begun that process and is moving in the right direction. If he were 6'5, 240 then he'd have offers from every school in the country because he throws an amazing spiral and is very accurate. He's pledged to visit every school that offers so he should make it to BC at some point.
Jack Sears is the California kid with east coast ties that we've talked about before. As we've mentioned he camped with the Eagles the last two years, similar to someone like Jack Coan. The staff has thus been able to evaluate him on multiple occasions and as he has grown physically and developed as a player. So they'll not only know where he's at on a deeper level, but they will see his growth/improvement track and be able to take that into account.
Jordan Genmark Heath is the Swedish quarterback/athlete now in California that we profiled yesterday. Although BC started recruiting him in March of last year I spoke with one source close to the program who said that they haven't discussed him too much as a staff as of yet.
