In ACC, BC upsets Clemson and Louisville, loses to FSU and one other (VT?).
Atlantic Division ends in a 3 or 4-way tie. BC, Clemson, FSU all 1-1 against each other, the win over Louisville clinches the tie-breakers for BC.
GT wins Coastal Division in a similar upset, BC beats them a second time and gets the auto bid.
In the only WTF game, BC somehow gets upset themselves by UConn.
Reasoning:
- BC is back to normal, which means the are probably #44 (their historical rating) in the FBS this year, and about an average P5 team. With their defense though, that's enough for a couple of major but not historical upsets in Clemson and Louisville.
- This won't be the start of a consistent climb to the Top 20, BC will likely be in the same spot year after year. It will be enough for a series of 7-5 and 8-4 seasons, a la TOB, and a bowl appearance most years.
