I feel like football more than any other sport is a game of momentum. When you have it you are tough to stop, when you are don't its tough to get going. In the second half I felt like Towles, and the O had momentum. The line started to open some holes, Towles looked much better and more comfortable in the pocket...and Daz sucked he momentum away from his own team. Calling a TO and kicking the FG , then 3 straight runs up the gut nursing a lead simply sucked the life out of this team and handed the momentum to GT. Daz gave GT reason to believe again. Its like he doesn't get this part of the game at all. This is not the first time he's done this. His ability to coach in close games is terrible, he lets his fear of losing and making mistakes dictate his game management and more often than not it rubs off on his players.
When you have your opponent on the ropes never let them off the ropes, thats the time to go for the kill. I'd rather have lost the game going for the win than losing it trying not to lose..I'd have more respect for him as a coach at the least.
