Every year, it happens. We see bad college football teams who check out down the stretch. Fans are frustrated with losing and blame the coaches. Coaches lose the team. Or the team faces so much adversity, sustains an overwhelming number of injuries and players are just tired of losing causing the whole squad to throw in the towel. I fear that might happen to BC this year. I am not saying that Addazio has lost the locker room, but the injuries are piling up to the point where BC is literally running out of play making personnel and is really limited in what it can do on offense.

Looking ahead to V-Tech: the Offensive Line is plain bad. It is not all that likely to open up big holes for Wilson and Wollford to power run thru. The thought of us throwing the ball 20-30 times with Troy Flutie against a four man front and constant blitzing seems like another eight sacks waiting to happen. But, when you think about it, the wide receiver position is the only area on offense that is healthy.

Fortunately the Defense is great and Special Teams are improved and both can score. They are the reasons why to watch the game on E3. One last comment. For the love of the institution, please don't play a Flutie-Fadule rotation. I would rather watch a re-run of my high school senior prom where no one scored there either.
