If I was BC I would definitely being looking at John Tenuta as a possible replacement for Brown. Tenuta is very similar to Brown in terms of his aggressive style with the use of exotic blitzing and trying to create chaos and disruption of the offenses game plan. Tenuta is the type of coach that needs the "right" personnel to run his schemes. He has failed at places in the past when he didn't have the type of player he needed to run his system. I'd say it'd be the same as how things turned out for Brown at Maryland. He didn't have players with the skill set needed to run his scheme, therefore his defense there wasn't very successful. BC's current roster would be a perfect fit for Tenuta's defense and ultimately I think he'd have a lot of success here. I don't know much about his ability to recruit, but most of his experience of the last 10 years has been in the ACC and 2 years at Notre Dame, so I'd imagine he knows the landscape pretty well. If offered the position, Tenuta would be crazy to turn it down.
