Spoke to someone close to Jake at the recent BC freshman orientation. Said that when BC was recruiting Jake he was 6'5" 220. Now he is the same height, but already up to 250lbs. He said the coaches are talking to Jake about playing a role similar to Josh Bordner last year, believing that he is a pass catching TE who is also a good blocker.
Also met student Sarah Kennedy, one of the student orientation guides. She is the granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy. Her father Chris, and her Mom are both BC grads. Hmmm, I think the "Kennedy Indoor Football Facility" has a sweet ring to it, don't you?
