Just letting everyone know as soon as I post this I'm switching my account to a different rivals site at least for a while. I'm sure many of you will be happy about this, so I there's something to look forward to. I enjoy "talking" to all of you with the exception of PG and I'll definitely miss that aspect of this site.
In the end though BC and I are just too far apart on too many things having to do with this football program, and I just don't enjoy anything about BC football anymore. They won't try, and I just can't be a part of that. BC will always be my alma mater, but for a while that's going to have to be where it ends. I'm sure there will come a time when I can feel good about BC football again, but with the current team of Leahy and Bates running things into the ground it's just too ugly.
Taking away one of the better home games from an already awful schedule is the last straw. I will just not be treated that way, don't believe that any season ticket holders (precious and rare as they are around here) should be treated that way either. The message has been sent and received. It's terrifically loud and damn clear. The people running things just do not care about their season ticket holders. They want your money, but they don't care in the slightest beyond that. They'd sell all the home games if it lined their pockets; never doubt that.
I'll still catch the free board occasionally, and will be hoping for signs of life including an indoor facility and a MAJOR overhaul of scheduling practices that includes scheduling games with meaningful P5 teams not less than once per season.

PS: At this moment all my tickets for '15 are available. All are face value except for Maine and Howard which are free if anyone wants them.
