Ifeatu Melifonwu is a 2017 prospect that I had mentioned several times on this board and site in the past. He's a 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete from Grafton, and he had been hearing a lot from the Boston College staff. At one point I believe he had an offer from the Eagles, although I'm not sure if their interest waned more recently. Regardless of whether Melifonwu just never warmed to BC or if they never pushed hard for him, he committed to Syracuse late on Saturday. No other Power Five schools had offered.
