All the players would jump on the last guy to strike out to end the game.
But the real problem was that we were relying on that guy to hit a home run that hasn't happened during the whole game.
I think as simple as that is, that's our problem here. This game was incredibly hard ending. But our offense couldn't put up 3 points against WAKE. We monopolized the time of possession, but we couldn't put 3 points on the board.. And honestly the 2 games prior to this one weren't too different.
Disappointing to put it mildly.
