Not going to get into play calling here; rather, it seems we have an inordinate amount of slow handoffs. If we are going to be a run first team, so be it...but we are so slow to get the ball to the RB, there almost always seems to be a defender in the backfield.
I'd like to see the stats on the % of negative runs we have. There are a bunch of little tweaks we can make that aren't groundbreaking to stop getting bottled up that far back, regardless of how bad the OL blocks. There are so many plays that go for a loss of down and yards. It would be nice to just get to the line of scrimmage.
