Hey guys,
Just a quick note about a buddy of mine. He and his wife both went and met at BC, and she's got cancer now. And it's not good. Who knows, some of you may know one of them when you click on the link. I play hoop with the guy, and he's pretty much the nicest guy you'll ever meet. And I know... EVERYONE says that when someone like this gets in trouble, but screw it, in this case, it's totally true.
Anyway, they have two great kids that are 6 and 4, and one of Jess's players at NDA, (She's a hoop coach at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham), set up this site. The player is coming to play Lax at BC next year, so another great job by a future Eagle.
Bob has said that if he's good to pay for his kids to go to college when that time comes, then this money will go to another family in a similar situation. I send this out not to solicit donations or anything, but hey, take a look at the site, and if you're buying a bag, shirt, or water bottle anyway, maybe buy it from here. Trust me, it's the best cause you'll ever help out...
