So, we all know the factories are in the news a lot, so we think we know more about them most times. Of course, we also know that WE here know a great deal more about the pulse of a team than most national media outlets.
Being from FL I'm friends with tons of FSU fans and alum. They are more than a little worried about this team. Apparently none of the QBs Golson and Maguire, have looked particularly good. I was able to get on WarChant for a while this am and that board seems to confirm this is how many of their diehards feel.
FSU has been even more mum and secretive this year than usual, but some people who claim to have seen their last scrimmage in clandestine fashion are reporting that Golson is still a turnover machine and Maguire is just not really good enough.
And that's far from the other concern. There is talk of a lackluster effort all camp, team seems to be hungover from two years of tremendous success. Some of their own people feel 8-9 wins may well be the ceiling and that a lower-tier bowl is in the cards.
Anyway, very encouraging for BC. Some of you predicting a win might not be too far out in left field after all. Short week, under the lights, we always play them well, we're going to look pretty different on offense and they're not going to have much to go on.
They're going to surprised by our team speed. Not that we're quicker than them by any means, but when you come in expecting granite statues and you end up with Sherm and some of our other guys it can take a half just to adjust.
I think if we can jump on them early we have a damn good shot.
