Yesterday Boston College became the 11th school to offer Winter Park, Fla., wide receiver Jordan Pouncey. The Eagles joined an offer list that already included Iowa State, Louisville and West Virginia.
The 6-foot-3, 182-pound receiver is a downfield threat and has pretty good ball skills for a player his size. He's got the kind of offer list that guarantees more offers and looks are coming, but not the kind that would immediately signal a huge uphill climb for BC. Both Brian White and Rich Gunnell have been recruiting him.
Pouncey caught just 17 passes last year but showed his explosiveness with 515 yards and seven touchdowns. North Carolina and Florida are among the other schools showing interest. Film at the bottom of this post.
