So here is my own. I was at the game, so didnt get the benefit of replay and commentary
- Daz always talks about the "it" factor, I think several players on the team have it, I think Daz doesn't. I don't think he's dumb, I actually like him as a figurehead/Icon perspective. He just lacks the "it factor" it takes to win. (similar to Spaz, other than I thought he was a poor icon/figurehead)
- DBs definitely took a step down. Not sure how big of step, but definitely a step. Johnson seemed definitely the strongest of the group.
- OL maybe slightly better? But still on the issue list.
- FG - not sure what is going on here, but afraid this isn't the end of the issues
- RB - appears to be back up there to at least competitive this year, hard to tell if much higher than that until after a few games.
- QB - I think Towles is a very serviceable QB, a bit hesitant at times, a bit wild at others. Could be first game jitters, but overall no big concerns.
- WR - I think we have the players to be ok here, a few drops, a bit on first game jitters, maybe it being dublin and raining, I am not sure, but I think we have a nice combo of fast, tall, good route running, and strong WRs..
- LB/DT - Think this group played pretty strong, not 100% of last year, but hard to tell after one game. Wish we were a bit more aggressive with this group to potentially help the DBs some.
- Penalties - not sure if anyone else caught this, but they killed us. poor timed and poor decision making.
