Ethan Tucky is being used as a strongside defensive end in a 3-3-5 defense at Delaware (Ohio) Hayes. That's really showing off his versatility, because he's not got that kind of build on paper. It's causing him to develop a bit of a different skill set. His speed is obviously tremendous and it's akin to 'going small' in basketball. At the high school level the outstanding speed compensates for any lack of size.
On Friday, Hayes won their game 21-7. Tucky scored all of their touchdowns on offense. Flipping over to the other side of the field he had two sacks, three tackles for loss and eight total tackles.
