After finishing 3-9 last season, including 0-8 in ACC play, Boston College may simply be looking for bowl eligibility in 2016. In addition to FCS's Wagner, which is expected to be about 40 points worse than an average FBS team next season, the Eagles face two opponents (Massachusetts and Buffalo) ranked 110th or worse in preseason FPI. Boston College has a 72 percent chance to make a bowl this season, according to FPI's projections, and its cushy nonconference schedule is a major reason why.
