I received this email tonight. I personally did not attend every game, but my tickets were used for every game.
Dear XXXXX,
I want to take a moment to express our deep appreciation for your support of our student-athletes and program throughout the season with your perfect attendance at every home game. We are not satisfied with our record – which makes our gratitude for your presence at every game that much more significant – but we are confident in our plan and future. Our commitment to you is to ensure your support will be rewarded and we are working tirelessly to make you proud to be an Eagle in the coming season.
The 2016 season started for us last Sunday, November 29th and we are aggressively preparing for our opening kickoff with Georgia Tech in Ireland on September 3rd with a plan encompassing multiple strategies from recruiting to gameday activities. Recruiting continues to go extremely well with another highly touted class coming to The Heights next year: some arriving in January to begin classes and go through winter conditioning and spring practice.
Administratively, we are critically looking ourselves squarely in the mirror striving to improve in all areas while assessing staff and daily performance. We recently restructured all our external operations areas within one unit to better serve our fans and to substantially grow our attendance at every game. We are excited about the fact that we will soon be announcing athletic facility enhancements that will help our program with recruiting and player development while symbolizing BC’s commitment to Eagle Athletics. We are also beginning our season ticket renewal and new sales campaigns in January – much earlier than ever before – to provide our fans with more benefits that come with time as well as give our sales team more opportunities to ensure Alumni Stadium is packed next season.
Once again, thank you for your support throughout this season. We are more determined than ever to make 2016 a great and memorable season and celebrate our collective success.
Go Eagles!
Sincerely,
Brad Bates
Director of Athletics
