He was one helluva option QB for the Air Force Academy. Given that many of you know my long-standing affinity for service academy football its probably no surprise that Dowis was often who I imagined myself being during marathon backyard football games back in early Jr. High.
I still think either he or Major Harris should have won the Hypesman in '89. Andre Ware was a complete and total system guy. He may be the image beside the definition in Webster's.
