I re-watched the video from Bailey recruiting page. He is a remarkable player. He played wide receiver, linebacker, kick returner and punter along with running back. He is huge, fast, elusive and powerful. He truly looks like Dillon did in high school only taller. As we all know, not a bad guy to be compared to.
Adazzio probably wants to red shirt Bailey but my sense is he won't. Not showing Bailey on the two deep for UMass is meaningless. When we start playing the meat of our schedule, Bailey will be an unbelievable compliment to Dillon. Can you imagine a tired front seven having to deal with a rested Bailey in the fourth quarter?
Unfortunately, Bailey like Dillon, will likely leave BC after three years so red-shirting is not really that important a consideration. Running backs have a pretty short shelf life and typically don't stick around if they are as good as Dillon and Bailey once they are draftable.
If BC doesn't watch it, we could get to be known as a good place for big, strong and fast running backs to go to school.
