After watching live with my '11 son, I decided to read and reflect these last 30 hours without comment.
Frankly, I don't actually have anything to write that has not already been succinctly expressed in aggregate by each of you regarding yesterday's game, and then on the larger football situation.
But my one thought has to do with Fr. Monan. He is such a respected man; a proven bridge builder, and visionary who has had a knack for facilitating change in practical ways during critical times on many levels, and in many circles.
I believe the athletic program would be very successful if he were still president in this ACC era.
Might he have a role here, somehow, in his emeritus status as Chancellor to lead us out of this mess?
