Wash. Post article today stated Stanford raised $1.63 Billion in 2015 in cash, not pledges. We just announced raising 1.5 Billion in ten or fifteen years and that includes not only pledges, but amounts that people will leave to BC after their death as a member of the Shaw society. Stanford ranked#1 in the country in 2015 .
