Well it's turning out to be a pretty tough season for our eagles but we will surely persevere. That said, when I look beyond BC to the college football landscape I have to say I'm getting pretty excited about the prospect of Clemson not only making it to the College Football playoff, but potentially winning the whole thing. At this point in the season we as fans have a pretty strong sense of who the contenders vs pretenders are and to me, Clemson is as legit as any team in the country. As a diehard BC fan, I firmly believe that what's good for the ACC is good for BC so to have Clemson continue their run is bound to have a positive impact on our yearly revenue and the ACC's overall standing among P5 conferences which is always being questioned.
The Pac12 parity may be so extreme this season that they don't get a team into the playoff, the Big12 could have both TCU and Baylor make the playoff although one of those two will have at least one loss after their head to head matchup. The Big10 will likely have either OSU or MSU in the playoff and the SEC will surely get Bama or LSU in there. From seeing Clemson play I'm not concerned about their ability to beat the teams from the SEC or Big10. TCU and Baylor have such high-powered offenses that I honestly can't tell how Clemson would do against them. Either way, the ACC has a solid frontrunner to get in the playoff and compete for a championship in 2015. Thoughts?
