If you just look at Boston College football as a consumer product, it's a terrible value, boring, and dated. Every aspect of the program is substandard...stadium, indoor practice facility (oops, we don't have one), coaching staff, players, fans, and day game experience. I'm not exaggerating. I've been to many games around the country the past 20-30 years. I honestly rather see a good division 3 or local high school game than go to a BC home game. Nothing will ever change until there is a new school President that is 100% committed to the football program. Seriously, think about one aspect of the program that illustrates my observations. It's absolutely an embarrassment that we do not have an indoor practice facility on campus. And don't tell me it's a money issue. What has Bates done since he's been here other than extend this bozo coach into 2020? I'd rather see them drop out of the ACC, where they will continue to be basement dwellers of the conference and/or drop the football program entirely. It's a lousy product and I'm done buying it.
