I went to two games this year and watched the remainder of the games on replay on ESPN3 or cable. While the Offensive Line was lousy, the blocking by the tight ends and wide receivers was probably worse. Initially, this could be blamed on inexperience. By year's end, this should have improved. In reviewing the Syracuse game, blocking by all concerned continued to be terrible.

My understanding is that Addazio's offensive philosophy is to wear the other team out by running on 1st and 2nd down for the entire game. I get it. What I don't get is how that works when you don't block well.

With this in mind, I am struggling to understand how Addazio, who is an old Offensive Linemen, could let this ever happen. I also don't get how we are ever going to recruit a legitimate QB to play in this system.

Not to be a complete downer, I am open to a pitch by Addazio as to how he is going to get things turned around. My problem is, I have heard nothing from Addazio that suggests that he even understands the problem.
