Presbyterian was the first school to offer Antwione Sims, a Class of 2017 running back from Zephyrhills, Florida. Boston College recently became the second, and thus the first FBS and Power Five offer as well.
Sims is a 5-foot-11, 196-pound back and his highlights can be seen below.
He rushed for more than 2,000 yards for Zephyrhills last fall as a junior. To be exact his total was 2,093, and that was a school record.
Sims first gained fame as a very young Pop Warner player who made it on ESPN with a highlight that depicted a player of rare skill and athleticism for his youth. Still, offers have been slower to come than for some running backs. Boston College is sure to be one school he thinks about a lot given they are his first major offer, and given the need at the position.
