We have had 5 California kids come through the program in the past 4 years or so.(not counting Diallo who hasn't played yet.
1. Anderson. Transferred to AZ and will not finish at BC.
2. Daniels: transferred to Drake and will not finish at BC
3. Jackson: will transfer and play his last year at another school
4. Rahon: transferred to St.mary's and will not finish at BC
5. Caudill: not sure how to characterize what is going on with him.
Is there any conclusions to be drawn here regarding BC's involvement with recruiting California.
Isolated instances? Coaching changes? Lifestyle difference between CA and Boston?
To me, here is what I see:
Anderson could certainly play at an ACC level. Maybe the losing got to him.
Daniels: was recruited over by Hanlan. Would be getting legit minutes at BC right now. Doing well at Drake.
Jackson: low level ACC player. Would be playing at BC right now. Not sure if he was asked to move on.
Rahon: didn't want to play second fiddle to Hanlan. Will play big minutes at st. Mary's.
Caudill: stunned he is still here.
Do California kids have a higher flame out rate at BC, or is this too small a sample size.
