First, and foremost, I thought BC's gameplan was exactly what Daz wanted. He knew what he had and he was forthcoming in preseason, the OL is keeping him up at night. Daz also knows that a running game is needed in order to making the passing game effective. We can moan all we want about us not having any OFF, but you can see the OL was not getting any push, gave little time to the QB in pass protection, and the end result was we were dead in the water. Also, our WR were not getting any separation, and we have very young guys. Now, our DEF kept us in this game and I was beyond shocked that we were able to go man-on-man and shut them down, but DAZ understands what he needs to do in order to win. I think right now, he is putting a game plan to win this Saturday. Daz is going to use all his weapons, so let us see what he does. If you keep going 3 & out, there are not a lot of plays for a RB to establish his game. let us see what he does this saturday before people start asking for a change.
The only thing I think that I would agree with everyone is not pushing towards a field goal at the end of the half. I don't care, you give your QB a couple of opportunities to make a throw to get us in their field and hope for the best.
