Don Bosco is 0-2 following losses to Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage and more recently to St. Joseph's in Philadelphia just this weekend.
The big news for Boston College is unfortunate: Defensive line commitment Marcus Valdez went down with an injury yesterday.
I caught up with Valdez today and here's what he had to say.
"We've played two games but I got injured yesterday, so I didn't play the majority of the game. It was early in the game. I went to cut back and I took a hit. My knee just kind of gave out. I'm getting an MRI tomorrow. I'm holding up (emotionally) pretty good. It's just tough being my senior year and not knowing what it is and not being able to play with all my teammates. It's hard. Right now I'm on crutches so I can't walk on it. It's hurting but I can deal with it."
