Today we officially say goodbye to the 2015 College Football regular season. A day reserved, so deservedly so, to the Army/Navy football game.
College Football is the most uniquely American of all sports and so ending each season with this game on its own special day is perhaps one of the most appropriate culminations of any sporting endeavor anywhere.
These are our best and our brightest. These are the men and women who will protect, honor, and usher us though these extremely challenging times, in a world-wide stage rife with unrest, hate, and violence.
As I enjoy this special game I'm thinking of Charles "Chuck" Harrison, Greg Davis, Jordan Fernandes, Jordan Weygand and everyone I know who made a choice of selflessness and personal sacrifice.
I salute and honor you all. God bless!
