Usually there is at least one phase of the game that is good. Might be the offense, or the defense or special teams, but we are bad in all three phases. That's a big problem.
OFFENSE: If we had a decent OL I think our offense would be competitive. It would put some points on the board. But the OL is terrible. Saw some posts about the OL being "improved" against FSU. First, FSU had their two (2) top DL players out for the BC game. Second, saying the OL improved is the equivalent of getting a 20% grade out of 100 instead of a 10% grade. Either way the grade is still an "F".
DEFENSE: The defense cannot create turnovers, cannot stop the run and, as we have learned recently in the last two games, cannot stop the pass either. Tackling is also a major problem for the defense. With this offense the defense has to create turnovers and cannot give up many points. Overall grade is not good.
SPECIAL TEAMS: Given how bad the offense and defense are we need special teams excellence. We need special teams to score, flip the field and create turnovers. Allowing 93 yard kick off returns is really bad. Another "F" grade.
Hopefully, we won't be on TV anytime soon. It's just too painful to watch.
