Today I spoke with a source familiar with BC's overall recruiting situation and here's what I'm hearing.

BC currently has 14 commitments and I'm told the Eagles will "probably take 16 or 17 max." It's worth noting that last year's class grew significantly beyond what the early expectation was, and that's common a lot of places (more last year for BC than for others), but still probably a good rough estimate. That means they're closer to being done than I previously imagined.

BC still wants a running back, I'm told, and they are also on the lookout for another defensive back.

Running back and DB are the priorities. If they fill those two spots, they'll probably be happy overall with numbers. I'm told they might take another offensive lineman but only if they really like the guy. That's not considered as much of a depth need as RB and/or DB.

I'm told that Steve Addazio really likes filling up most of the class before the season starts, or the thought of that, so the staff can devote almost all of their attention to keeping their committed class together and on the season itself.
