I'm a life long BC fan (I'm 45). I fell in love and watch virtually every game and try to get to a few in person a year since the Flutie era. How do we measure where we are with the Adazzio problem and the BC football program. Here's how I measure it: have you improved from the first game of the season. No. Have the problems from the beginning of the season gotten better (ie clock management, offensive line, quarterback play). NO! Virtually zero improvement. After watching tonight's game, and seeing Adazzio ranting raving and shaking his head after getting delay of game penalties I'm at a loss. Whose fault is that? Adazzio's. He takes a terrible 15 yard penalty with his team already backed up. He looks lost, out of control, and clueless to change any of the problems that he created. This is his third full time year. These are his recruits. These are his coaches. This is his problem and he is not the solution. Sadly knowing Boston college they're too cheap to do anything. They'll give him one year too many. Boston college needs to fire Adazzio and the offensive staff and hire Don Brown. Elevate him to head coach/defensive coordinator and let him hire the offensive staff. Otherwise they run the risk of losing him and what could be a great defense for years to come. BC had tremendous success reaching out to Bill Parcells in the past that's how they got Tom Coughlin. Do they need t reach out to Parcells and Coughlin again? Adazzio is not the answer.
