Nov 9th, 1965. The night the lights went out in the Northeast...I was attempting fg's from a tee in my backyard with my younger brother and out to the street. The football got caught inbetween telephone wires and we couldn't get it down. Later on in the evening, the power went out all over the place and for a few hrs before it was announced on the nightly newscast I thought that I was responsible for all of the power outage because I may have knocked a key wire related to that stuck football...Anyways, 50th year anniversary of the the "Great Northeast Power Failure"...when the whole grid failed.
