Does anyone know if BC is showing any interest in Class of 2017 Rivals150 4 star SG LJ Figueroa? He is ranked as the 66th prospect in the country and is a lanky SF that can score from anywhere and has a 7ft wingspan.
He is originally from Lawrence MA and played for Lawrence High up until his sophomore year. His family moved to Florida and reclassified. He hit a crazy growth spurt as he was only around 6'0 when he was at Lawrence High. I saw him play a lot when he was at LHS and the kid is a great scorer. He also played for the Dominican 17U team and was their leading scorer. He already has offers from Rutgers, VTech, Miami, Miss St., USF & UCF.
The reason i ask is because i know he still has his routes in Lawrence. He loves the city very much and he stills considers it home and keeps in close touch with his friends and former teammates. He's getting a lot of interest from SEC schools but with his strong ties to Lawrence BC can really sell the "coming back home" pitch. Providence, UMass and Rhode Island are showing interest and while its early in his recruitment its only a matter of time before up north schools like UConn, Syracuse & Villanova come calling because he's only going to get better. Could be the best Guard in the state of Florida for his class.
