With this talk coming out of the media days about how Daz (obviously) has regrets about not exploring transfer options at QB, I'm wondering what everyone thinks the reaction would have been if Daz went out and got another 5th year QB for the 2015 season.
Despite Daz kicking himself for not doing so, I think he was well aware of this calculated risk he was taking at the time. I doubt he was unaware how limited he would be in the event that he had to rely on Flutie/Smith/Fadule. He was putting all of his eggs into Wade staying healthy and if I think a big part of it was a concern about a) shattering Wade's confidence and b) back-tracking on any understandings/guartuntee's that Wade had about playing time. The general theme around 5th year QBs is that they expect to play so I don't think Daz had many options to bring in guys to provide depth behind Wade.
