One of the quarterbacks on BC's radar from the 2017 class plans to visit the Heights this fall.
Kyle McCloskey is a 6-foot-4, 210-pound pro-style quarterback from Fort Washington (Pa.) Germantown Academy and EagleAction.com reported on him in July because of a camp performance that caught the attention of the Boston College coaching staff.
McCloskey totaled 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns as a sophomore last year and he's primed for a breakout season this fall.
Boston College impressed him greatly when he visited last time. He won't wait long to visit again.
The left-handed passer with a 3.9 grade point average spoke highly of BC after that last trip and he toldEagleAction.com of his plans to return early in the season.
"As of now my tentative date for visiting BC is (Sept.) 26, which I believe is the UNI game," McCloskey said.
McCloskey added that he's been in some contact with the coaching staff since that camp performance.
"They said that they're really looking forward to seeing me after I get a few games under my belt in the beginning of the season," McCloskey said. "I'll be talking to them a lot once September 1 comes around."
Previously head coach Steve Addazio himself had heaped praise on McCloskey, indicating he believes the Keystone quarterback could be a good fit.
