Last night I had heard 2-3 commitments were 100% coming today after this weekend. These were the two and I still think there might be one more, but just might not be today. Either way, two good gets from out of New England for the new staff

I’m 95% sure its him but I’m waiting on the State Lab on internet forensics to return their findings. They are a bit delayed by the Karen Read trial. He has been back since June 3rd and already a bunch of posts under a classic parcells name “TeddyBall1257”. Always has a famous Boston name in there haha. And he is all over the place going from BC to the Red Sox

On surface BC looks like we did a good job in portal. We seem to have developed a niche here. Even under Hafley the portal helped more than hurt. I'm guessing the portal helps even more under Bill O' Brien with his NFL pedigree as
NFL HC and NFL GM. I mean who else in college FB can offer the following, " I was a Head Coach and GM in NFL. I know what it takes to get there and what it takes to stay there"

If I am a college player who's goal is to play in NFL....he has gotten my attention.

That being said. Each season the portal will need to be reevaluated. Like NFL Draft. It could be good, neutral or bad. Truth is nobody really knows. It will all be based on production and avoiding injuries.

In football injuries can often wreck seasons. Even in other sports. Look at crippling injuries Red Sox have faced to batting lineup. Now Abreau us out. Literally entire lineup is gone

Just out of curiosity did you or anybody look in at the LPGA US Open? When I saw the leaderboard Sat AM it was pass on the tournament, no americans in sight, I’ll admit I used to watch women’s golf just to girl watch, short skirts, tanned athletic legs etc but now it’s just a horde of little sexless asians and I don’t really want to watch their mechanical approach to the game.

After a strong OV weekend last week that resulted in a few commitments on Monday, the BC staff is back at it this weekend hosting another group of guys, 12 total after 13 visited last week.

Quincy Patriot Ledger reports that Sarah Behn is going to be the new women's basketball coach at Archbishop Williams. Sarah was head coach at Brown for six uneven seasons. Several of the Brown players were offended because Coach Behn recommended they skip desserts from time to time.

Eight commitments at this point and 1 of them weighs in excess of 215 lbs.

My youngest just texted me from his 5th year reunion. Currently hooping it up with Warriors Jerome Robinson, who he knew well at BC. Says Jerome is just a great all-around guy. Perfect weather for reunion weekend.

Roaringkitty (main character of the movie Dumb Money) has just revealed he has a gamestop position of about 200 million dollars. I'd assume as a non financial professional that this will start going up fast first thing tomorrow morning due to heavy retail involvement. The last social media activity he had prior to this he liked two tweets and a couple of days later GME ran from 13 dollars to 75 dollars. Worth a shot and maybe we can pool together and pay for players to bring a national championship to Chesnut Hill!

Can't reveal who yet, but at least one (possibly more) guys that were on OV's this weekend are committing sometime on Monday. Sounds like it was a very good weekend for the staff. I would name names but in fairness, it's the kid's moment.

Plenty of coverage on the site coming throughout the day!

I'll also be starting position previews this week too. Desperately need camp to get here.

I understand the Connell Building is the new recreation center but what physically (I assume something) is to go on the Flynn footprint?
