OT: The Stanley Cup playoffs

Tis the season. Bruins have a nice season after Bergy and Krejci retire. But what all that matters is the playoffs, I hope this is the year. However the NHL is pumping on all cylinder's at this point. Extremely high play this year especially by the super stars. Guys like McKinnon, Matthews, Kuch and McDavid had insane years, not to mention Pasta. Stars are my favorite in the west, I like the team they have a nice blend of grit and skill. Also have knocked on the door the last few years in a deep west. Really its anyone's game in either conference. Should be a fun year.

Bruins had a very solid year despite losing Bruins all time great and former captain Patrice Bergeron as well as David Krejci. Pasta had a monster year who, usually good enough for MVP but as mentioned the league has so many stars. Goalie tandem is top notch however I dislike they couldn't move Ullmark. This is the type of shake up a room may need to give them the push. Sweeney has done a great job building depth all over. Sneaky good move was getting Maroon but I am unsure about him due to the injury.

NYI and Carolina tied after one in a good right now.

Bruins vs Leafs in the night cap.

Another 2025 commit following his OV this weekend

Was up in NH for the weekend so apologies for the lack of content since Friday. There's a 2026 announcement coming as well, probably tonight or tomorrow. OV's are now done and staff will be taking a little time off. I'll have recruit reactions again from this weekend and pick up the position previews this week too.

Season is almost here...

BOB Interview

Just watched the King of the North podcast with BOB as guest. At the end of the interview O'Brien says he'd like to coach till he's 70 with the goal of being at BC for 15 or 16 more years. I always thought the situation with coach K at Duke is the ultimate coach/school situation. I really hope BOB works out at BC and takes the team to new heights over the next decade plus.

Tatum can play

I really like this guy. He has a good shot, great reach and seems to know where the ball is. He is still forcing some shots as he adapts to the pro game. He will contribute to the Celts at the 2, 3 and 4. Lots of upside. Right now, it seem Ainge's gamble might pay off. With IT, Hayward, he eventually will be a scoring option.
